Our Services
Each service is designed with the child’s overall wellbeing and progress in mind, ensuring that the journey toward effective communication is supported every step of the way.
Initial Assessments
Our initial assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s communication skills. During this session, we gather information about their strengths and areas of need, using observation, a variety of informal and formal assessment tools. This allows us to understand their unique communication profile and develop a personalised therapy plan that aligns with their everyday communication challenges and goals. We also work closely with families and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions are tailored to the individual needs of your child, focusing on developing functional and meaningful communication skills that make a difference in their everyday life. Whether working on speech sound production, language development, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies, we aim to make each session engaging and effective. Therapy can be delivered in a variety of settings, including schools, homes, or via teletherapy, to ensure flexibility and accessibility.
Training
We believe that everyone involved in a child’s life plays an important role in their communication development. That’s why we offer training sessions for parents, teachers, and other professionals. Our training equips caregivers and educators with the knowledge and strategies needed to support speech and language development outside of therapy sessions, fostering better outcomes for children in their natural environments. Topics include supporting AAC use, managing speech sound disorders, and strategies for communication with children who have Autism, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), or neurological conditions.
Types of therapy we can offer
Speech and Language Therapy
Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) supports individuals to develop their communication, speech and language skills. Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) work with people who have challenges in these areas due to a range of causes, such as developmental disorders, neurological disorders, D/deafness, brain injuries, or structural issues like cleft palate.
